Hello, and welcome to my website!
My name is Ricki Harrison, and I’m truly glad you’ve found your way here. I’m a Toronto‑based Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who loves creating a warm, compassionate, and non‑judgmental space for the people I work with. Getting to connect with others, hearing their stories, and supporting them through growth and challenge is something I genuinely cherish.
When I’m not in the therapy space, you can often find me outside — camping, hiking, or unwinding at the cottage — because nature is where I feel most at peace. I’m also a big music lover, and yes — Taylor Swift definitely makes every playlist of mine. And as a dessert and ice cream enthusiast, I truly believe that life is always a little bit sweeter with treats and laughter along the way!
My journey in the mental health field began with my own personal experiences with mental health, which gave me a deep understanding of the transformative power of therapy and its ability to foster positive change.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Forensic Psychology with a minor in Criminology from Ontario Tech University. I furthered my education with a postgraduate diploma in Addictions and Mental Health from Durham College, and went on to complete my Master of Education in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy from the University of Toronto, Ontario Institute for Studies in Education.
Hello and Welcome !
Throughout my educational journey, I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of mental health settings, gaining valuable experience in supporting individuals facing mental health and addiction challenges.
My diverse background in these fields allows me to provide compassionate, inclusive, and effective therapy, tailored to the unique needs of each person I work with. I am dedicated to supporting individuals on their path to healing, growth, and emotional resilience.
